It's a small (and friendly) world

Thanks to Mia K Rose, who kindly invited me to answer a few questions on her very stylish self-titled blog this week. She’s interviewing a series of YA writers as part of Aussie Author Month, and her posts are well worth a read.

I (unknowingly) chatted with Mia a few weeks back when we were both lined up at the Claudia Gray signing at Black Cat Books last month. She was the lovely lady who kindly took the photo for me. Such a small world. 🙂

You can check out my Aussie Author Month interview with Mia here.

Thanks for the opportunity Mia – and thanks for supporting Aussie authors.

About Me

I’m the author of the Rephaim series and The Undercurrent.

For my day job, I’m a writer-journalist-professional communicator, where my writing involves a lot less profanity.

I grew up in regional South Australia and now live in the Scenic Rim with my husband and a retired greyhound.

If you’re interested in how I came to land a publishing deal, you can read the short version in this post from August 2011. There’s a longer version (in a guest post) here.
