What have I been doing lately?
I’ve been hard at work on line edits for Haze, moving house and working at the day job, which is my excuse for the large lapse in time since my last post.
Next week, I’m going to be part of a panel (with the fabulous Nick Earls no less) at the Somerset Festival of Literature on the Gold Coast, talking about blogging, social media and online author platforms. So I thought I should get my act together and, you know, actually post something new.
I’m looking forward to hanging out at Somerset, meeting readers and watching other authors in action. I’ve got a few events coming up in the next few months, and you can keep track of them over on my events page if you feel so inclined.
What else can I tell you? I’m excited about Haze – it’s shaping up nicely. Not long now until it’s off to press, and then it will hit shelves in June. Next on the writing schedule is finishing off the draft of Rephaim #3 I’ve been tinkering with for a while now. And then re-writing it. 🙂
Meanwhile, publication date for Shadows in the US and Canada creeps closer (September). I’ll post more on that momentous occasion as it gets nearer.
In between all that, I’ve read some truly awesome books in recent months and have left my thoughts about them on Goodreads.

You’ve read some great books, The Raven Boys, Days of Blood and Starlight and A corner of white are all on my to read list and I can’t wait to read them.
