Five more sleeps…

Only five more sleeps until Shadows hits the shelves in Australia and New Zealand on 2 July (unless you pre-ordered from Text Publishing, and then you’ve already got your copy because you’re special 🙂 ).

Am I excited? Ah, just a tad.

Review copies went out a few weeks back and ratings are popping up on Goodreads, with a number of key bloggers promising full reviews on release day. I’m humbled by the positive responses so far, and love that readers are enjoying Shadows.

In other news, book 2 in the series – Haze – is nearly ready to send off to my lovely editor and I’ve made a start a book 3, so I won’t be sitting around basking in the glow of a newly released book for too long. Plenty of work to do!

About Me

I’m the author of the Rephaim series and The Undercurrent.

For my day job, I’m a writer-journalist-professional communicator, where my writing involves a lot less profanity.

I grew up in regional South Australia and now live in the Scenic Rim with my husband and a retired greyhound.

If you’re interested in how I came to land a publishing deal, you can read the short version in this post from August 2011. There’s a longer version (in a guest post) here.
